Hard to Serve Subpoenas/Summons

DGI Hard to Serve Subpoenas and Summons

Have you been trying to serve a person or entity with a subpoena or summons so that you can get them into court, but you have not had success? You cannot get a ruling from the court unless you get the subject into the courtroom and it all starts with the serving of a subpoena and/or summons to appear in court.
Whether a person or entity owes you a large sum of money, properties, possessions, merchandise, vehicles or etc. it does not matter unless you get them in court and they know it. They have been avoiding being served for some time now and you are ready to move on into the court process, but have hit a brick wall. DGI can handle this situation for you when others have failed.

“You get what you pay” and how true that is sometimes when it comes to this type of service. You may have been paying a police officer or sheriff’s deputy or even a professional for this type of service, but with no results. Usually it cost you anywhere from $50 to $150 to serve a subpoena or summons and the person serving the documents goes to a known address of the subject and tries to serve them once, twice or three times by knocking on the door or going to their place of employment and etc. with no results. Now it is time to change the way this type of service is conducted.

Sometimes surveillance must be used along with some research on the subject so that we can maximize the results from our efforts and get the subject served. DGI may find out that the subject shops at Publix Supermarkets and may have to serve them there. The subject has trained themselves not to respond to someone calling their name and they may have changed their appearance a little to avoid being served. DGI will use every tactic necessary, including infiltration and trickery, so that we can help bring an end to this avoidance game that has been going on for awhile.

This “Specialty” service is more expensive than your ordinary serving of subpoenas and summons, but how much is it worth to the client to have the assignment accomplished in their favor?

Example: A spouse decides to separate from the other without notice and takes the child/children with them to another state without notice, illegal in most states. Client gets a court order to take custody of the child/children and only needs the court order to be served. Usually you only have one shot to accomplish this successfully because if you mess it up the subject will flee and make it harder to find them the next time, if there is a next time. How much is it worth to the client to get their child/children back, $50 to $150? Or do they want it done right and successfully without “fumbling the ball”. DGI can handle this type of sensitive situation and has many successful recoveries of child/children without incident.
